While Lakeville North senior safety Stuart Hamann had numerous picks through the duration of the 2014 season, his pick on January 18 was his most important.
Hamann announced via his Twitter account that he had picked St. Cloud State for where he would continue his football career and his education.
For Hamann, the decision to become a Husky wasn’t a difficult one.
“[It felt like the] right place, right people, [and] felt like home,” Hamann told me.
He also said that while he kicked for the Panthers, the plan right now is that he will primarily play defensive back at St. Cloud. But, he also wouldn’t rule out potential kicking duties at some point down the road.
Hamann also received an offer from Moorhead State and a few other walk – on offers.
