Lakeville North will now officially have seven football players sign National Letters of Intent Wednesday.
Linebacker Connor Melz was the final player on the State semifinal football team to announce his decision, which he did via his Twitter account, Sunday afternoon.

While contemplating offers from other schools, Melz’s visit to Southwest Minnesota State, Saturday, made the decision clear.
“On my visit it just clicked and felt like where I needed to be and the coaches were amazing and I have faith that the program is on the up and up,” Melz said.
Melz received offers from Moorhead State and Northern State, in addition to interest from the University of Minnesota-Duluth. But, Melz ultimately decided to take his talents to Southwest Minnesota State where he will play primarily outside linebacker.
